DRAMA ELECTIVE CAMP 2007

SAMANTHA IS UNDER THE DRAMA ELECTIVE PROGRAMME, FOR STUDENTS TAKING THE 'O' LEVEL DRAMA EXAMINATIONS.

SHE IS HONOURED TO BE PART OF THE 1ST BATCH OF 'O' LEVEL DRAMA STUDENTS, , WITH ONLY A TOTAL OF APPROX 30 STUDENTS FROM SINGAPORE, COMING FROM 4 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS.

THIS HOLIDAY, SHE WENT FOR THE DRAMA ELECTIVE CAMP, WITH OTHER DRAMA ELECTIVE STUDENTS NATIONWIDE, HELD IN CHIJ KATONG CONVENT.

During the 3 DAY workshop, students worked with each other on different genres of scripts, learnt Wu Shu & Chinese Opera, from the trainers. It was very different from what was taught in school. However, Samantha managed to get a tip or two from the trainers. She made some new friends who shared the same passion for drama and is even more glad that they are the ones taking the 'O' level examinations with her.





Indeed, it was a fruitful camp!

Campus Superstar 校园 SuperStar 2

Campus SuperStar is a spin-off of Project SuperStar, a popular singing talent-search competition in Singapore. The contestants comprise students from secondary schools, junior colleges and Institutes of Technical Education (ITEs). This differs from Project Superstar, where contestants must be over 18 to participate.

For CSS2, Samantha & her schoolmates supported Seah Hui Xian, one of her good friends, through her CSS2 journey. Hui Xian emerged as Top 3 for girls' winner.

Samantha wrote a creative essay regarding the details/rationale of the limited edition CSS Shirt. In the end, her story was published and she was awarded the shirt.
